Hale Dwoskin: Great. So whenever we do any kind of releasing process, or any of this exploration that we do, I highly recommend that you follow your heart more than your head as best you can. Now if the head comes in to help, that’s totally okay. Just don’t only listen to the thoughts and the noise in your head, also listen to the feeling and the intuition that’s coming from your heart. So in this moment, allow yourself to focus inside, and just simply ask yourself this question. What is my heart’s deepest desire or intent? Just welcome the first thought or feeling, memory or idea that comes to mind, because you just let it be here.

Ric Thompson: All right.

Hale Dwoskin: And then, could you also welcome any wanting to do something with or about it. Welcome any wanting to do anything with or about that desire or intent in this moment.

Ric Thompson: Okay.

Hale Dwoskin: And then, could you welcome any sense that intent is personal, is about you, or who you are.

Ric Thompson: Yes, okay.

Hale Dwoskin: And then, could you welcome the universal power that is the way that gives the life to all intention.

Ric Thompson: Yes.

Hale Dwoskin: And could you just simply turn that intent over to that.

Ric Thompson: Yes.

Hale Dwoskin: Okay. Now, that’s just one round and that’s just one way of letting go. Now what did you notice when we did that?

Ric Thompson: Like you said, a letting go, a release, a sort of, you know I got very clear on what it is that I wanted and then just sort of surrendered it.

Hale Dwoskin: Right. So, that’s one way that the Sedona Method can help with creating intent. The other way is or one of -there’s many but we’ll cover a few. Another way that the Sedona Method helps with intent, is that once we have an intent, one of the mistakes that a lot of people have made, most people have seen through it, but a lot of people especially early on when the movie, The Secret, came out, people started trying to hold in mind, what their intention was for the moment and to be crucial of everything else and they just simply suppressed everything else and then waited for something magically to happen, and for most people it didn’t. So there was a lot of frustration that came from the movie, The Secret.

Ric Thompson: Right.

Hale Dwoskin: And there were several problems with that. One is that people ignored the fact that they needed to do some work on their own in two ways. One, they needed to actually take action in order to manifest their intent. And the other was they needed to let go of all the thoughts and feelings and beliefs to the contrary. Now, the teachers is the movie, The Secret, my fellow teachers in that movie, most of them know that, in fact they all do, but over half of them use the Sedona Method as one of their key tools for letting go of the obstacles to creating what you want. So, the second way that the Sedona Method can help creating intent is by letting go of the obstacles that you have, the beliefs, the thoughts, the feelings, the memories, all the stuff that’s inside of you that’s taking up space that could be occupied by just allowing your intent to happen. And so let’s do a process to clear that away too. You want to do that?

Ric Thompson: Absolutely. Let’s go.

Hale Dwoskin: Okay, good. So this process is very, very simple. What you do is you just simply focus on your intent and then what you do is you welcome whatever it is that appears to be in the contrary and then we’ll just move through letting you go. Does that sound good?

Ric Thompson: Yes, sounds great.

Hale Dwoskin: Okay. And by the way, as we’re working together, Ric I’m hoping that everyone listening to this is working with us, because that’s the whole point. It’s not just – I’m sure you’ll feel better by the end of the hour.
