Pursuit of Happiness
Giving Gratitude for our Freedom!

 

Almost every country on the
planet has a national day of celebration to commemorate the anniversary of that
nation's release of control from previous rule. Each "Independence Day" is a day
set apart for celebration in remembrance and recognition of freedom.

 

Freedom is never free.

 

In fact, usually it comes
at the horrible high price of a war. It is important to honor and give gratitude
to all of the men, women and children that paid a price so that we can enjoy the
freedom of choice.

 

Let us be grateful for the
freedom we enjoy!

 

While this article talks
about the United States of America, these foundations and principles are
becoming more and more widely put into practice and observed in many countries
worldwide.

 

Freedom is a global right
for all of humanity.

 

Let Freedom Ring!

 

On July 4, 1776, a group of
colonists claimed their independence from Britain and a nation was born.
Independence Day is the national holiday of the United States of America
commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental
Congress in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

America was founded on the
principles of religious freedom: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that
all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain
unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of
Happiness."

 

Freedom of Choice

 

We are blessed with the
right to choose. Every day we wake up and we are able to decide for ourselves
how we will utilize our time that day. We choose what to wear, what to eat,
where to work, who to be with. We can give much gratitude for the freedom to

choose the kind of life we want to live.

 

Dr. Eric Allenbaugh, author
and leadership consultant, teaches "Every choice moves us closer to or farther
away from something." Then he asks us two great questions:

 

1) "Where are your choices
taking your life?"
2) "What do your behaviors demonstrate that you are saying yes to – or no to –
in life?"

 

We have choices every day.
What will you choose to do with your day today? Give Gratitude and celebrate
your freedom of choice!

  

Certain Unalienable
Rights

 

Much of America's
Declaration of Independence is a list of grievances. All too often, in our own
lives we will have a list of grievances as well. Sometimes, it can be a long and
painful list.

 

Are you ready to declare
Independence from your list of grievances? You definitely do have the right to
do that. Be grateful for the freedom to change things in your life to something
better.

 

What will we choose to do
with the problems in our life? Will we continue to live and labor under them or
will we embrace our personal freedom and declare our own Independence from them?
Today is a good day to declare an Independence Day in your life! Be grateful for
the freedom to make changes.

 

All men are created
equal

 

America's founding fathers
declared that "all men are created equal." What does that say to you? To me that
means that each of us has the inherent capability to be as successful as anyone
else – man or woman – on the planet.

 

Let us give thanks for the
freedom and right to equal education and opportunity for all.

pursuit of Happiness

 

We are all entitled to
"Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." What makes YOU happy? When you
take time to ask yourself what you are grateful for, you gain an awareness of
what is important in your life.

 

Thru the magic of 'Giving
Gratitude' on a regular basis, you feel better, learn new things about yourself
and can discover marvelous new directions for you to explore.

 

With all the information
and resources we have available at our fingertips every single day, we really do
have every thing we need to succeed. Let us be grateful for the wealth of
education, information, resources and opportunity that is all around us every
day.

 

You have the freedom, power
and potential to realize a level of fulfillment that many only dream about. Be
grateful for each day that goes by. It can bring you closer to your goals. When
you "Choose to Commit" to something and hold yourself accountable for taking
small, consistent daily action steps, magic can and will occur in your life.

 

Declare your own personal
Independence Day. Take pleasure in the pursuit of your individual Happiness.
Enjoy your life. Rejoice in Liberty. Celebrate your freedom of choice.

 

Let's Give Gratitude for
Freedom!

 

We suggest that before you
go to bed tonight that you write down 1+ things that you are grateful for. Why
not consider making this Gratitude before bed a habit for life?
