You've recently lost your job. I know how you feel, because I've been there before, too.
In 2008, I lost my job due to the great recession – a dream job that I absolutely loved, that I was ready to dedicate 40+ years of my life to, and I couldn't imagine living without. I begged and pleaded to get hired, and thankfully, I never was.
Yes, I said thankfully.
You see, getting laid off, although I didn't know it, was honestly the best thing to ever happen to me. It completely opened my eyes to what it really meant to take control, and to focus on opportunities that were ahead of me that were there all along, I just never had the time to see them, and if I did, I wouldn't have had the time to act on them.
Since getting laid off, I started multiple businesses, from an app company that generated over $1 million in earnings, to several smaller side businesses that earned a couple thousand dollars a month (which have since been sold), to inventing a physical product that's for sale on Amazon and other retail stores, to writing books, keynoting on stages all around the world, and most of all – and most important – having more freedom with my time in my life so that I can support my family not just with money, but with time and presence.
In this video, I wanted to unveil the great opportunity that's right in front of you. There WILL be a new normal – this we all know – but where you end up has nothing to do with what has happened to you, and everything to do with how you handle it and where you go from here.
