Is that all there is?

Have you ever felt that your everyday life possibly was missing something? Many of us wake up to find each day filled with every minute already scheduled. It is all too easy to get so very busy with the schedules and commitments that we do not have a single spare minute for ourselves.

Who wants to be in a rat race anyway?

The bad news is that such hectic lifestyle like that will drain our energy and ruin our health. The good new is that we do have the ability to change that. We can even begin making positive changes today!

Stuck in a rut?

Don’t blame life. Maybe it is time look to yourself. Maybe it is time to recognize that you CAN take time for yourself and ‘Call forth Life’s Riches.’ If you do, you will find incredible rewards, extra energy and a renewed enthusiasm for your life!

Where is the Joy?

Up until now many of us have secretly believed that we needed to wait until things “calmed down” and were “caught up” a bit before we could take time for ourselves:

Tomorrow we’ll begin discovering authentic pleasures.
Tomorrow we’ll treat ourselves better.
Tomorrow we’ll take the time to enjoy ourselves.
Tomorrow, when everything calms down.

Guess what!

Tomorrow never comes. Life will NEVER calm down long enough for us to wait until ”tomorrow” to start living the lives we deserve. There will always be more to do.

Life is always movement
     always change,
          always unforeseen circumstances.

There will always be something trying to grab your attention:  that ’important’ phone call, the fax dropping paper on the floor, the car breaking down, the check that never arrives in the mail.

Is it urgent or important?

Let’s just acknowledge that as far as real life is concerned, something with an ‘urgent’ tag on it will always be trying to grab our attention. Keeping your personal health, happiness and well-being at the top of the priority pile will bring you marvelous rewards!

What can we do?

STOP WAITING for life to become perfect. Procrastination will rob us of far too many precious opportunities. Pause for a moment and look around. There are blessings and opportunities for gratitude and joy all around us at any given moment.

START APPRECIATING what you already have. We can start working with what we’ve got to make our life as satisfying as we can. Today, we can accept, bless, give thanks, and get going.

TODAY ~ we can begin to call forth the riches from our everyday life.
TODAY ~ we can move from lack into abundance.

Here are some ideas that might work for you:

Call a friend for lunch,
     Write your goals and dreams,
Begin to read or even write that novel,
     Organize your papers,
Try a new recipe for dinner,
     Smile at everyone you meet;
Drop someone a thank you note,
     Sit and dream before a blazing fire,
List the things you are grateful for,
     Think about something you did well,
Go for a walk in the middle of the day,
     Take your beloved to a special play
Celebrate your family with week-end trip
     Cheer for a child at a sporting event,
Go out and volunteer in your community,
    Share happy memories with a loved one,

Act as if you are GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE!
SCATTER JOY everywhere you are!

Think of ONE thing that would give you a genuine moment of pleasure today and then, DO it. Great! Then do one more thing again tomorrow, and the next day another and the next and so on!

The first step in the journey is always the most difficult to take “Life begets life. Energy creates energy,” the famous French actress Sarah Bernhardt reminds us. “It is by spending oneself that we become rich.”

TODAY – spend some time on your life on something WONDERFUL.  Choose something that’s important to you, something you have been putting off until there was ‘time’ and…

DO IT NOW!

Choose something marvelous, relax and ENJOY!

So… What do you want to have more of in your life?  What is one small thing that will bring you joy that you can share with someone else?  When will you do it?

Today is a good day to “call forth” Riches, Blessings and Abundance in your own life!

Work happily and with a smile this month. Think good thoughts. Think of success, love and kindness. Think of all the marvelous and good things you already have in your life.

Every day we have the opportunity to review and revise our thoughts. Small, simple, and consistent positive thoughts, gratitudes and praises reflected on with a smile every day will bring great satisfaction and marvelous rewards to you and those you meet.

Today is a brand new day! It is a good day to remind ourselves to “Wake up with a smile, give gratitude for our blessings and Call Forth Life’s Riches to bring about even more wonderful things into our lives!
